Reflections on Blogging from A – Z April Challenge 2014

This year too, fortunately I was able to successfully complete the Blogging from A to Z April Challenge, 2014. Where one got to post alphabetically every day except on Sundays, so one have 26 days filled with 26 letters in the end. April does seem to fly away so soon.

Indeed, this Challenge was a challenge though, titillating in disguise. I had to manage my time and internet connectivity incongruously and most importantly think about the theme of the post relating to the Challenge. I somehow managed to squeeze through the Challenge owing to diverse approaches I tried. Retrospectively, I feel I had gone through approaches from posting photographs to raising issues and scribbling poems. And of course, my blog falls into miscellaneous category. At times, I forgot that I was participating in the Challenge but I could manage the posts somehow. Most importantly, it was a real fun!

The real interesting part was that, I met many new friends and the traffic was incredibly good. It’s always nice to meet new bloggers from different parts of the world. Thanks to internet and Blogger, it’s much easier to reach out to the people in other parts of the world.

Now that the Challenge is over, I am happy that I participated and indeed I am pleased with my outcomes. I am grateful to the hosts and co-hosts of the Challenge for their perseverance and efforts. The way hosts handled the traffics and posts were just awesome. Appreciated!!! Thank you all the new followers for following my blog.

And yeah, thank you Challenge for the beautiful survival badge, loved it!

Zoos and its Dark Sides

I am no zoo expert; here are some of my thoughts though. I believe that the animals doesn’t belong to the zoo, they have their own wonderful home. Natural habitat is where they are supposed to be, not in the zoos. In Zoos, animals are captivated and rendered them with stress. With these stresses animals suffer mentally and physically; so many distress signs are shown by the animals.

Nor the animals are the show pieces, where people watch them every day. How would we feel if we walk in their footsteps? Will the children learn that animals do not have the right to live in the forests? Although some zoos claim to provide conservation efforts while their primary aim is to make profits. If zoos are really concerned to preserve the animal species, they should be conserving them in their natural habitats. Zoos provide visitors education on animals but they provide lessons on the captive behaviors such as boredom, stress, etc. Zoos tend to divert the conservation efforts in their natural habitats, thus depriving them of the genetic flow. There are hardly any ways to create a man-made natural habitat for the animals.

With this post I am successfully ending my post for the A to Z ChallengeApril 2014. Thank you so much the hosts of A to Z Challenge; it is indeed a great challenge.

Reminiscing The Times That We Had

Breaking all my heart apart
I can't see you no more
I am here all waiting
Waiting till I die
Reminiscing the times that we had
I can't bear no more
The pain that's inevitable
Wish you were here forever
In my arms like you used to be
Every thought that I think
With every things that I do
You are always here
Implanted in my heart
At times how I wish
You laying by my side
Holding my arms for eternity
Smiling like never before
But now, deep inside I am dying

No Spiritual Powers in Pranic Healing

Twitter took toll to astonish me with the words like "No spiritual powers (in Pranic Healing). It's the money that's leads to numerous centres around the world".  Indeed I don't believe in those words but if I am to look at those words, I would have said the same considering I lack Pranic Healing practice.

I also believe in Law of Karma; What goes around comes around. What you give, you get back, the more I give, the more I get, the more I help, the more I get helped. I think it is something that have to strike our mind so people tend to be helpful. Happiness is all about helping and loving others, to have compassion. Not just to smile and harm people. Because of one's Karma or the Karmic action, we are what we are today. Some institutions are successful while some are not!

I would say Pranic Healing is like Yoga but it is not Yoga. Pranic Healers do practice Arhatic Yoga after reaching certain degree of healing practice. Arhatic Yoga is a vast subject, which tends to purify one's mind and develop certain healing power.

The power to heal ailments with no touch healing method is indeed a spiritual power.

It always intrigues me to know non-pranic healer's perception on the pranic healing. People have right to the healing discernment.

Even a scientist tend to prove research papers and theories wrong until another scientist proves his paper or theory wrong again. The findings never end. So is with the discernment.

May peace prevail on earth.

Moment of Happiness

Happiness is all that every living being desires and I always wanted it. Happiness has sources and various techniques. Dalai Lama seems to be smile every time; he knows exactly knows how happiness is derived. I got very less knowledge on how it is derived.

The moment I set my eyes on my loved ones and things I tend to be filled with love and peace. I suppose love give arise to the happiness, that moment when you feel loved and when you love, happiness is in the air. Laughing even when we are sad scientifically diminishes the sorrows we have. The moment I sit and think of loved ones, I am filled with joys. But the moment of happiness seem to be ephemeral. Wish eternal happiness prevail on earth!

Losing What We Love

Losing what we love is one of the most saddest part of life. Be it fate or not we have to surpass through it, we have to buoy on it.
What has taken the toll is that I hate losing what I love the most. Well, every one hates it or may be not! It's like living in a hell on earth emotionally and I get weak and dumb physically.
Change must go on whatever and the most consoling thought that provokes my mind is definitely the impermanence. Pondering for a while or meditating on impermanence is one good way to hold control of my emotions, though it's really hard. Usually I am on it until I find a better option.

Jomolhari - One of the highest Bhutanese mt. peak

Bridge on the way towards Jomolhari

A phallus curved out of rock

Jomolhari Peak

Aconitum plant growing abundantly nearby the peak

Yaks grazing at the Jomolhari base

This is Jomolhari Peak more than 7000 meters above sea level

I Am

I am the shadow of my dreams
I neither live in dreams nor in reality
I would be fading away someday
I am here for a moment

I see that we live not in this world
I also see dreams too fade away
I am not the reality
I am the shadow of my dreams

I am not the dream
I am that I am
I am the soul
I neither live in dreams nor in reality

I live through my body
I watch my body
I am the body to the world
I would be fading away some day

I am not a dreamer
I search for the emptiness
I look for the soul

I am here for a moment

Far, So Far Away

Life seem to be a mystery

An anachronous dimension

Leading to an unknown destiny

Far, so far away

Can’t turn back the time

Neither can create it

I know it’s not a dream

I know we are living definitely

In a vicarious era

Leading somewhere to graveyard

Disappearing amidst the world forever

Far, so far away
